Am 1. September unternahm das Schulhaus Pfarrmatte gemeinsam eine Herbstwanderung. Damit die 1./2. Klässler und die 3./4. Klässler eine ihrem Alter entsprechende Wanderung machen konnten, wanderten die Stufen auf unterschiedlichen Wegen zur Coburg. Monika Ruepp führte die Unterstufenwanderschar an. Der Weg der 1./2. Klasse führte vom Schulhaus weg zum Gallei und von dort hinauf zur Hutte. Nach der verdienten Pause, führte der Weg der Strasse entlang bis zur Hoburg. Dort fassten sie den Auftrag, Steine für die Feuerstellen zu sammeln und später ein Feuer für die Wurst am Mittag zu entfachen.
Die Wanderführerin der 3./4. Klässler war Lotti Felder. Zu Beginn wanderten die Kinder dem Fitnesspfad entlang. Nach einem stetigen Anstieg freuten sich die Kinder bei den Reckstangen im Wald eine erste Pause einzulegen. Später führte der Weg in das Bachbett des Alpachs. In Dreiergruppen halfen sich die Kinder im Bach Das Ziel war keine nassen Füsse zu bekommen. Nun führte der Jägerpfad im Wald steil hinauf. Auch jetzt halfen sich die Kinder gegenseitig. Die Pause bei der Zigerhütte war wohlverdient. Bei der Hoburg trafen die beiden Gruppen wieder aufeinander. Es war Zeit für die Mittagsrast und Spiele zu spielen. Die ganze Schar wanderte dann gemeinsam den kürzesten Weg zurück zum Schulhaus Pfarrmatte. Müde aber glücklich kehrten die Schüler Nachhause zurück.
